The long answer
Running it on the floor
The listing calls this an attack top, and the ring tells the same story: teeth standing proud of the body, a narrow tip, nothing designed to be patient.
Hold the launcher level. Nine dead launches out of ten are a tilted launcher, not a tired top: leave at an angle and the Nado lands on the edge of its tip and scrubs the spin off immediately.
Mind the crystal. If the warrior crystal is loose in its seat the whole stack wobbles, and no amount of launching technique will fix that.
Everything in the package
Open it and you get one Nado, plus sword launcher.
It carries die-cast metal attack ring.
Who we would hand it to
Age 5+ on the box, and that rating is about the hands rather than the interest. There is die-cast metal in the ring and the stack separates into small pieces, which is reason enough to keep it off a nursery floor.
The listing shows 4.2 stars from 73 buyers.
