The bent tip bench — returns, breakages and worn parts

Tops get chewed. Some of that is normal wear, some of it is a fault, and the two are handled differently.

Normal wear

Scraped paint on an attack ring, bright metal on the teeth and a slightly dulled tip are all signs of a top that has been played with properly. None of it is a defect and none of it stops a Nado working.

A tip that has worn asymmetric will make a top wander. Swap it — the tip comes off the axis by hand and spares live in the bigger battle packs.

Faults

A launcher that will not hold a top, a rack that jams on the pull, a cracked axis out of the box or a missing part from a sealed set are faults, and they are covered.

Start the claim on the order page of the partner store you bought from. They hold the order, the payment and the replacement stock, and a claim raised there is resolved in days rather than forwarded twice.

Before you send anything back

Check the axis tension first. A Nado that rattles apart on contact is usually a loose stack rather than a broken one, and hand-tightening fixes most of them.

Keep the packaging until the set has survived a week of play. Returns go much faster with the box.
