The long answer
Running it on the floor
This is the patient one. Endurance tops trade away hitting power for minutes on the clock, so expect long rounds decided by whichever top keeps spinning.
Count your losses on the edge. If this one keeps leaving the floor, aim lower into the wall and let the slope turn the top back inwards.
Launch it into the slope of the arena rather than flat into the middle — the top runs down into the centre with its rotation intact and the first contact comes sooner.
